The Fantasy Farm at the Jewel of Encanto is a privately owned home located in the historic Palmcroft-Encanto neighborhood in the heart of downtown Phoenix. The Jewel of Encanto was a model home, built in the late Roaring 20′s, for one of the first subdivision developments in Phoenix that features stunning Spanish Colonial Revival architecture.
The Fantasy Farm features the first food forest in Phoenix with over 60 varieties of edible fruit & nut trees, tropicals, hedges, vines, and berry bushes planted throughout the large corner lot! This amazing project was planted with the help of more than 50 Garden Pool volunteers in July of 2013. The Fantasy Farm also has two stunning pond features, chickens, and an aquaponic hothouse with aquaponic grow beds and ultra-tropical plants.
Private tours are available and are facilitated by Garden Pool. Take a guided tour of the large sustainable property and learn what makes this GP system work.
